Handicapped Parking

I've had my little disabled parking placard for almost a year now, and it's looking to be a permanent thing. With the recent wintery temperatures we've had lately, I just have one little gripe to business owners.

How can you salt your sidewalks but not salt your disabled parking spots? Everywhere we've gone over the past couple of days, NO ONE has salted their disabled parking spots. I have a hard enough time maintaining my balance when I walk. The addition of icy pavement does not help; I don't care how close I am to the entrance.

Right now, I'm more upset about the icy parking spots than at parents who let their kids play in the handicapped bathroom stalls.
